Yet another new show!
April Fools Prank Update – 04/01/05 07:03 MST
I’m proud of all the commenters to this post. All y’all got it. I don’t think we received any email from freaking out fans, but I was on IM with someone who got a quick ping from one person who bought it.
And if I can screw with one person (other than the entire cast and crew of tDP which bought my pranks hook, line and sinker), my April Fools is complete.
And if you missed it…
I know we’ve been bombarding you with new podcasts/show announcements recently. Wingin’ It! is only four weeks old, and we only launched Slice of Sci Fi officially this week.
For those of you who don’t know, outside of being raging scifi geeks, Mike and I are really big into die-cast car collectibles. Die-cast collectibles are nothing new, but they are really taking off huge in China and India right now. In fact, we’ve been producing a weekly podcast/website aimed specifically at that market for the past month.
Today, a major sponsor came on board to allow us to focus on that new format– full time. By the end of the month, we’ll be packing up all of our studio equipment and relocating to just outside of Hong Kong to be closer to our suppliers and end-consumers. It’s a huge shift for us!
So where does this leave our new shows? At this point, we simply don’t know. We’re too excited by this news to spend much time thinking about The Dragon Page at this point in time. So be happy for us, and let us know what you think!

Good thing too. I was really getting tired of all this science fiction stuff. Matchbox cars are *so* much cooler… Hey — how about doing another spin off for MicroMachines?

It’s about time! Finally I’ll have someone who can share my absolute love of Burnin’ Key Cars!
Bless you, Michael and Evo, for having the courage to podcast what no one else will!

Well, we had an offer for that too, but we declined. We would have had to move to Bulgaria to be closer to the main factory and we just didn’t like the sound of that.

Bulgaria? I thought they moved their factory operations to Elbonia in 2002…
