The filter trick works. I filtered the cheapest vodka I could find. Refiltered it 10 times through the same britta filter. In my opinion the good vodka has impurities that make it taste good. Filtered cheap vodka is not the same as good vodka, but it is certainly smoother, and not as hard on my stomach and head.

Gah! I’m trying here! It’s not as though I deal with technically savy people everyday who are pissed off with commercial radio and like sci-fi.
Hell, I’m still trying to get my mother interested in Firefly, but that won’t happen til she gets back from Hawaii… And a friend of mine still doesn’t get (as in understand) podcasts after talking it over with him… It’s almost enough to drink a guy to drink… Do you have a spare seat (and the plane ticket)?
Oh, and Winnipeg is in MANITOBA! As STATED on the Frappr map!

Mark, I said the following on my blog when mentioning this DPWI! appearance.
“Apologies to the citizens of Winnipeg, Manitoba! My first thought was ‘The Jets were in the Smythe Division with the Vancouver Canucks - - in British Columbia.’ (I suppose I should have thought Alberta for Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames)

An hour and a half show! You guys need to take a week off more often. On second thought….
I think my favorite was Mike say ‘Dragon Page Wining’ It! Show #36. I had to stop it and double check I had the right file open.
Man! What a drunk fest! This is kind of show I’ve been waiting for. WOO! A bunch of drunks talking about Sci-Fi! What could beat that?

Another great show in the can, guys. But what’s really sparked my intrest is the Stone Brewery Bottle. Have you looked at the reflection on it? It’s either spooky or funny, can’t make my mind up as to which it is….Tell me you’re not wearing a Batman t-shirt, please.

In the reflection, that’s Jack on the left in the white shirt, and Evo on the right in the dark brown shirt. That’s also my blue plastic gallon water jug in the photo.
I think Evo was wearing the Serenity shirt that day… the one he got free from the last pre-release screening.
