Upgrades

Posted in trifle on November 8th, 2005 by Michael R. Mennenga

Thought I would share my new toys that came into the studio today.

It’s a bit bigger than my last mixer.

Trying to fit the new one in here is challenging.

My power supply to feed the monster.

I love my job!

Evo interviewed on Getting A Leg Up

Posted in trifle on November 7th, 2005 by Evo Terra

Mark Forman, the Brooklyn Blues Man, an expatriate from the States living, working and podcasting from Taiwan, interviewed me over the weekend in regards to the impending release (no wait, today is the 7th, and it’s out!) of Podcasting for Dummies.

Mark is also a fan of the shows, genre, eclectic music and exposing the BS which passes for “your own good” in this world. His show, Getting a Leg Up has been in my aggregator for the past three months or so. Good stuff!

PS - If you speak Chinese, pay attention at the end and tell me what Mark said, would you? Trust no one, as Mulder likes to say…

Shownotes as a wiki?

For a lot of you, that title makes your eyes glaze over. It’s OK to hit the delete key right now, or just skip this if you are one of those.

But for those of you keeping your finger on the pulse of the podcasting world, you’ve likely heard about “wiki shownotes”. I’m hoping some of you have been using wiki shownotes, and can give me a solid opinion. If you are one of those, click the link below and let’s talk.

Buy a house in Colorado complete with a wife!

Posted in trifle on November 2nd, 2005 by Michael R. Mennenga

Just in case you are drinking heavily while listening to this Week’s Wingin’ It! and are looking for a life-mate and a new house, this may be for you.

The idea of House With Bride began while I was contemplating selling my house in Denver, Colorado. Although my company is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a few years ago I bought a house in Denver. My life in Albuquerque had solely revolved around my work, and I felt that I needed to make some changes to improve my social life and hopefully meet my soul mate.

Find out more (and place a bid if you like,) at her website.

And if you win the bid, we’ll put you on our next Wingin’ It! show. (The beer is on us this time!)
