  • Drat. I knew it was too good to be true. I blame the aliens. My foil hat failed to work. I blame Evo. He just had to look so hot in his assless chaps. Dammit.

  • Karen from Kalifornia

Pictures of Mike’s big board? Surely you jest! Of course I want to see the pictures of the massive unit. And don’t call me…

However, the idea of leather and Evo is not interesting. Unless the leather IS Evo. Hmmmm. It seems there is more than one way to skin a cat-hater.

By the way, this is the third time that I have posted in the blog. That means that these comments don’t count and we still need at least one more post to make it 50. (as the Ego commanded)

ah, so sorry, mr. brooklyn bluesman, what was your score on matchmaker? data was lost when funds were routed through ghana. please to try again. 69 is not an acceptable answer.

Tee! Horrible! Despicable! Woe! Oh, yeah, and your segment was nice.

  • By your command: one more post. Er, this is my third one, too. Are we keeping score?

  • Er. Re: my last comment

That is due to sheer sexiness. Not doing sheer sexiness. Although, there is no wrong in doing sheer sexiness.

    Ask me about blue steel.

  • Charlie, I know you’re the beer guy, but I’m still impressed that anybody outside Wisconsin has heard of New Glarus. Hooray! I’ve half a mind to send some Spotted Cow (that is, if they don’t already sell it there).

  • Mmmmm, New Glarus… and Capitol…

and I had a nice doppelbock (“Big Butt”) from Leinie’s after a Gopher Hockey game a couple weeks ago.

I can’t condone Leinie’s original, but they make some nice specialty stuff.

Now, what good stuff do you recognize outta my home state, the home of Hamm’s? (ugh)

  • Yo J! No New Glarus of any kind is available in AZ. Spotted Cow? Yes please! Could you throw in some Uff-da Bock, some Edel-Pils, and a couple of Belgian Reds? Some of the best beer in the whole damn country…

  • It might be a few weeks, but I’ll see what I can do. I should probably throw a ‘Hearty Hop’ in there too, eh?

  • J–Hearty Hop? Hells yeah. Send it to me c/o Draco Vista, and we’ll do a New Glarus-Only Wingin’ It! If you can find some of that 5-year aged super sharp white cheddar as well, that’d rock!

JohnBoze–You got me…uh..there’s a Rock Bottom in Minneapolis… not much else comin’ out of the land of sky blue waters these days…least that I know of…

  • Okay, the address is the one in the left-hand column on the contact page, right? (I’m sure the fact that I’m a dumb girl is coming through, but I wouldn’t want it sent to the wrong place.)

Heh. We’ve got cheddar all over the place around here. ;) (If only Wisconsin were famous for chocolate, what a world this would be.) I’m slightly concerned about shipping cheese, though. It’s probably not a problem here since it’s freaking cold, but once it gets to Arizona…

  • J–that’s the address! You’re probably right about the cheese…sigh…

  • Jeff in California

Hey J and Charlie: My parents are driving out to California from the upper peninsula of Michigan (yes, I am a yooper…hence the email name) in May. My mom is going to load up the RV fridge with goodies from da north…such as pizza, venison sausage and good pork chops. Since they live on the Wisconsin border….let me know what kind of cheese you want and it will get a cold ride across country. I might ask them to throw in a couple of smoked chubs too.

Lemme know. Email is ok….I dont check back at the web page after I get to the bottom of the blog posts.

  • I don’t call Rock bottom anything local really. There’s local stuff that doesn’t see bottling, of course, but Summit produces some fine stuff as does Schell. Schell also bought the right to produce the favorite fizzy yellow american brew round here Grain Belt Premium. Don’t recoil from the “Brain Melt” name though, their Premium is decent. Gluek is also here in Cold Spring, MN. They make the Stite beer thyat comes in the Alumabottle Mike had a while back on the show.
