Play nice, now…
… but we’re moving. This is gonna take some time, so your patience is most appreciated.
Take a good look around, because most of this is going to change. This is a temporary theme. It’s nice enough, but I’m a picky bastard.
I’ll apologize in advance for what’s about to happen to your RSS feeds. If you’re set to “grab all episodes”, you’re probably going to redownload every single one of our episodes. Sorry. Dunno any way around it, since we’re switching platforms. You might check your settings and make sure your set to only grab the last episode. Then you’ll be safe.
Bear with me.

Hey gang. New home for Michael and Evo’s Wingin’ It!. Bear with us as we get things cleared up. For those of you subscribed to the show via iTunes, no changes will be made. And we’ll even make accomocations for others. We’re super nice that way.

This Week’s Voicemail Show!
This show is for you! We’re receiving so much voicemail and email feedback commentary that it just won’t fit in one show anymore. Plus there are all those extra long drinking game cues from commenters…

On the mics are: Michael, Evo, Jack Mangan, TD-0013 and Eliza the pastry chef. No Ninjas this time.
Hungry for even more fun? Check out Jack Mangan’s Deadpan Podcast, and keep an eye out for A Different Point of View, the latest additions to the FarPoint Media stable.

Now listen. None of this was our idea. We thought that it might be mildly entertaining to record ourselves hanging out after a hard day of recording many other shows for FarPoint Media. We got the “entertaining” part right, but sorely misjudged the appeal it would have.
Welcome to Michael and Evo’s Wingin’ It!. It’s often a silly place, and we hope to the gods you don’t take anything we say too seriously. Remember, we’ve been drinking.
Michael R MennengaOften the butt of less-sensitive cast members insensitive jokes, Mike is the guy doing double duty on the show. He’s not only the co-host of the show, but also the guy responsible for making everyone sound so damned good. And that’s an awful big board with lots of pots, dials and buttons for someone who’s been drinking to play with. But what the heck. Liver dangerously, you know?
Find out more about Mike at his official website.
Evo TerraThe above mentioned asshole. But hey, you’d be an asshole too if you had to do what this guy deals with every week. Beyond a simple co-host, he’s responsible for keeping the conversation on track and coming up with various asinine statements to throw the rest of the crew off before anyone thinks the conversation turns too serious. After all, this is Wingin’ It!
Evo has his hands in too many pies, but you can check out his MySpace profile for now. He also seems to over use the word “too” in descriptions
Summer Broooks“When I took this job, no one told me these guys had a drinking problem.” 1.5 years later, Summer still manages to find time for these slobs, filling the role of Producer for them more meaningful projects. On this show, she’s the sexy voice of rationality when the testosterone gets pumping. Brave, brave woman.
Summer can usually be found hanging around with other Kick Ass Mystic Ninjas.
Joe MurphySweet little Joe from Illinoise awoke to the horrid sound of a twister one morning. After the storm passed, he was deposited in the alien landscape of Arizona and a vague feeling of homesickness. That quickly vanished when we offered him piles and piles of free books. And killer desert when he hits the studio.
When he’s not peering into auditory canals, he’s Kicking Ass like a Mystic Ninja.
Mur LaffertyMur is the sheer brilliance behind Geek Fu Action Grip, a regular segment on Wingin’ It! which covers the world of geekdom from a more elevated point of view. If it’s pissing you off, it’s probably pissing off Mur as well, and she’ll be writing an essay about it soon. If she can pull her self away from her toddler for that long.
Find Mur at Geek Fu Action Grip and other places.
TD-0013All the way from the desert world of Tatooine comes TD-0013, bringing regular reports to the listeners of Wingin’ It! in order to try to give everyone the real truth about Stormtroopers , the Empire, and everything else in the Star Wars universe people seem to be so damned confused about.
He’s got his own digs you should check out.
Humor is in the eye of the holder. Or would that be ear? What about the brain? At any rate, Jack’s the brains behind Duel of the Fates, the author of Spherical Tomi (the only book which is a drink cue) and the host of his own show, Jack Mangan’s Dead Pan.
The above list consists of folks who, more often than not, make it to the studio at least a few times a month. But honestly, the show would not be what it is without the contribution of so many others like:
The Wingin’ It! beer openers have arrived!
Thanks to those of you who took 92 of them off the market before they even arrived. For those of you who were deciding to wait, you now have to fight among the eight which are left over.
Or… we could do a new batch. In fact, we will do a new batch, but we’ll wait to see how many more of you freaks our loyal fans would like to order one. And you can do that here.
What’s on this week: DJ your asses off!
Michael, Evo, Summer, Joe, and Eliza the budding pastry chef are all alone in studio, because of the earlier-than-usual start.

Listen to the Wingin’ It Voicemail show later this week! That’s right… double the Wingin’ It fun, because you asked!

Promos:
Relax, all is right with the world. We’ve decided to add a “splash” page to break up the three shows. For the record, I hate splash pages. But since “the Dragon Page” means something very different to potential listeners of With Class to those of Wingin’ It!, we had to make adjusments.
(Note for those reading via RSS feed: Check out the new index page. http://dragonpage.com/index.html if you wanna see what all the hubub is about.)
Love it? Hate it? Whatever. Got a better idea that doesn’t rely on rebranding one or all three shows? Comments are great.
I’ve been half-heartedly following social networkings rise in popularity over the last six months or so. About five weeks ago, some really smart people I listen to (yes, I do think there are smart people out there, perhaps even smarter than I) lifted the conversation to a new level. So now I’m paying attention. And just playing in general.
The coolest thing I’ve seen in the last five minutes is Eventful, a social network for gatherings, events and (as I’ve recently made it) pool parties! Wil Wheaton (biggest one in four counties) turned me on to the site today, and I’ve been playing. Set up my own Performer profile (Evo = Evo, remember) and added a few things to the list.
If you are an event coordinator or involved with any cons, get your arses over to Eventful and sign up. It’s got auto-updating to a bunch of other sites and the interface is pretty intuitive.
