In a recent article posted at PC Magazine:
A new research project at MIT’s Media Lab aims to turn every cell phone or PDA carrying member of the public into a podcaster, and every mobile device into a virtual podcasting studio.
My first reaction was predictable. Great. Let’s further lower the bar on audio quality for podcasts by using cell phones as microphones. Then it struck me: You crazy people do this every single week on our voice mail show! You’ve scooped MIT, people! Hooray for our side! The geeks just beat the nerds! I’ve used used three exclamation points in a row! Now four! (This is getting out of hand quickly…)

Huzzah! And five!
Huzzah!
we rock
So! Damned! Cool! Wait…I went and bought an expensive USB mic…What! The! Hell!
So sorry Charlie.
Stick wit us in the stone age.
Fun! Now there’s something else to upgrade. LOL
oh yeah becuase next thing you know, people are going to be walking around with little white snowball looking things plugged into their phones, carrying them around like Yorick’s skull, and talking into them about how drunk they are.
