Clerks II release date moved
I’ve just received a note from a promoter explaining that the launch of Clerks II, the highly anticipated sequel to Kevin’s Smiths seminal work, has been moved up in the launch queue. Originally slated for an August 18th debut, the antics of Dante and Randall will now punch you in the face on July 21st, 2006.
Why?
Elementary, my dear Watson. Kevin Smith is no dummy. He knows he hasn’t got an Asian design major’s chance in Hades going up against the greatest cinematic event the world has ever seen, opening on the same day.
Say it loud, people!

For once, Evo, your theory is sound.
Is this the B&W or color version? I heard he wanted to release it in both.

What? I didn’t know they were making a Matrix 4.

Kevin Smith is my master now.

I wonder if he’ll show up at this year’s Comic Con? The 21st occurs while CC is in session. He was a hoot last year.

Where will you be on August 18th, 2006? I will be at the premier of “Snakes On a Plane”!

Well, I’m still looking forward to Clerks II, so sooner is better.

I’ve heard that some theatres will have a B & W print of Clerks 2 and some places will have a color print.

Clerks 2 is on my list, because of the sole fact that, “I am the C.L.I.T. Commando!!!”

Yes but years from now, people will remember Clerks 2 more than Snakes on a Plane…

True but even if Snakes on a Plane sucks massive wind, it will all be worth it for the amusement that we’ve had over the past few months.

Some of you (Michael and ditto) are treading on thin ice. I shall not allow sacreligious comments to mar our place of sanctity. There shall be snakes. Motherfucking snakes, I say. And they shall be on the motherfucking plane.

A-motherfucking-men. ;P

The Night Listener, really? I mean sure Robin Williams is great and all but I think Clerks II can take him especially since he’s in a movie based on a book by Armistead Maupin.
Oh, right. Snakes on a Plane.
