Centuries ago, however, Jaque was defeated in battle by the terrible Abyssal lord of serpents, Yig. Yig sent his squamous minions to invade Jaque’s two planes and slay all of her many children, using the forking conduit plane to get to them. However, the eldest of the children, Jaque’s half-mortal son Samuel-el, stood at the junction to stem the squirming tide. As Yig’s demonic serpents approached, he stared at them with a steely gaze. “And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.”
