Michael and Evo: Wingin’ It!

For all of you who cannot make it: YES, we’ll have the live stream running pretty much all day long tomorrow. We’ll turn on the mics and the VIP Backstage Pass stream as soon as the first person shows up and just leave the damned things on. It’ll be a full day of WI! for your listening pleasure.

• No, we won’t release all of it on the podcast.
• Yes, we will release some of it in the form of an episode for those who can’t make it and cannot access the live feed while it happens.
• And yes, you have our express written permission to record the stream as it happens and re-distribute it. You have fun with that bandwidth hit.
• Yes, I’m sure there will be pictures taken. Keep your eye on my Flickr page, as we’ll try and upload them throughout the day. No promises, as there is beer to be dranken.

Anyone headed to WesterCon in San Diego July 1 - 4, 2006? I finally got everything all official with my trip, but now I find that I missed the cut-off date for the group rate. Grumble, grumble.

I’m going to book the room anyhow, but I’d much rather bunk with someone who’s got some room. No, I’m not sleeping on the floor. But if you’ve got a spare bed, I’ll take and and we can split it!

Note to LARPers and masquerade participants everywhere: If you’re gonna dress up, don’t go half-assed. The ATF has issues with it:

Jeremiah Ransom, a sophomore from Macon [Georgia], was leaving a Wesley Foundation pirate vs. ninja event when he was detained.

Ransom was wearing black sweatpants and an athletic T-shirt with one red bandanna covering the bottom half of his face and another covering the top of his head, Williamson said.
