Michael and Evo: Wingin’ It!

After returning from Dragon*Con, I’ve been trying out a few more podcasts than usual. And while all of them are quite cool, I have to give major props to one that I have become hooked on - Tag in the Seam.

Ostensibly for members of the species with internal plumbing, I’m still friggin’ addicted. Leann (comes attached to Clair, dammit) puts out one hell of a show, complete with great production values and overly compelling content. I’m no broad and the show certainly wasn’t designed with me in mind, but DAMN!

Guys, seriously. Subscribe to this show. No, it won’t make you gay. If anything, it’ll make you more attractive to the opposite sex. Unless you are already gay, in which case you will be come more attractive to the same sex. Works either way.

Girls, holy shit. This stuff was made for you. You’ll be high-fiving… or whatever it is you do. How would I know? Regardless, you’ll eat this stuff up, and we won’t roll our eyes like we do when you turn on Lifetime TV with us in the room.

Final confirmation has arrived: We will be recording Wingin’ It! live at the 2006 Portable Media Expo in Ontario California this weekend.

• Time: 10:00 P - or 11:00 PM. Just be there early and be safe.

• Date: Friday, September 29th
• Where: At the IODA/LibSyn/Kiptronic Party Suite at the Marriott Hotel across from the Convention Center
• Details: I wish I knew. We’re working on the details of how we’ll distribute invitations right now. Maybe it’ll change to open invite. Maybe not. As soon as I know, I’ll post it here.

For now, sit tight. If you see nothing else on the site, find me at the PME. I’m talking like four different times, so I should be easy to find. Mike and I will also be doing an on-location recording of Slice of Scifi, probably up in our room. And no, I don’t know the room number. Chill, people.

Happy Saturday. I’m sure many of you are up (or will be up soon) to check on the status of the live feed. While you are waiting:

I figure it might be a good place to send the noob to either a) provide a good sampling of what we ‘re all about or b) to scare the piss out of them.

I’m open to suggestions for other additions. I want to keep it short, so I’m also willing to take suggestions on what to remove — now and in the future.
