Show archivists needed
Happy Saturday. I’m sure many of you are up (or will be up soon) to check on the status of the live feed. While you are waiting:
Check out the entries in the “Special Audio” page on the site. (Look right or click the link.) I’ve lumped together a sort of “Hall of Fame” of previous shows for you. I figure it might be a good place to send the noob to either a) provide a good sampling of what we ‘re all about or b) to scare the piss out of them.
I’m open to suggestions for other additions. I want to keep it short, so I’m also willing to take suggestions on what to remove — now and in the future.
I’ll be at the studio soon.

Wash dies?!?

Ironically enough, ‘Wash Dies’ was the very first episode of Wingin’ It I ever listened to. And thankfully I listened to it a couple of days after seeing Serenity, when I went online and looked for all kinds of Serenity media and found SoSF and the Dragon Page.
*sighs* Good times…

Ah Wash dies….bastard Evo! I heard that one just before seeing the movie.
Ok Evo I forgive you! But boy did you stick your foot in it! that was the show that got me hooked!

You posted the 2 episodes I was in… Aww, thanks.
And people say you’re petty.
Although… now I hear what you said about that poor girl at the hotel…. You bastard.

PS ARE mail servers supposed to make that noise??

I wouldn’t have come over to the (at the time) Dragon page had it not been for “Wash Dies” I was on the signal as my ONLY podcast. But when they announced that “Evo Terra of the Dragon Page” had committed such a heinus crime of spoillers…I had to find it for myself…but then it was just the bleeped version. I listened and was hooked.
Love the archive!

Thats why I came to this podcast, for the “Wash dies” bit, Although I heard it after I saw the film.
May I recommend show #35, the premier of Charlie the beer guy, before he was known as the beer guy
Can I also recommend the very first mention of “Killer Bunnies!!” I have no idea what it was on, but, yeah!

Word is, and I haven’t checked this out yet, that EP30 show has the “Wash Dies” edited out in the archive. I understand the reason this was done after the complaints, but now that everyone and his dog who would see Serenity has seen it at least once, would it be possible to put the unedited version up back in it’s place? Or did the unedited version go the way of the “super spectacular” extra content that never made it into EP46? LOL

I humbly suggest one episode where you (Evo) were MIA. I know there was one particular one that was noticably less crazy and somewhat organized that might make a good contrast. Not sure which one, but perhaps Summer or Mike would be able to pick one.
Now, as we used to do on pre-web forums, I’m grinning, ducking and running!

No, the idea has been thrown out to pick a “love fest” episode, and I think it’s a capitol idea. But we need someone, one of you “love - lovers” out there to figure out which one should be up there. All are available in the archive, so get to it!

Rhettro, you can here a clip of the uneditted version on the next episode, episode 31, during the trial.

Tom from London: The first meantion of Killer Bunnies would be after the Was Dies episode. Because it was 2 or 3 nights later that Evo and I played the game.
Yes.. *I* introduced him to the game… ME… ME YOU HEAR ME EVO…
ok… I’m calm now.

I haven’t forgot Phillip. LOL You know with the Wash Dies audio in 31, I can splice it back into 30 and have an unadulturated version. =]
