Once I bought condoms, chocolate syrup and whipped cream.. and no they were not related I was making a desert for a dinner party and was also out of condoms. The lady at the register was laughing at me. Oh yeah and it was like 1 in the morning too so I think that helped.

FYI, I bought that basket from Alaska Wildberry Products at http://alaskawildberryproducts.com/ .
Oops, I forgot to mention that I got the Alaskan Abundance gift basket. it was the most expensve, but it had the best variety. They also make gift baskets that lean more towards certain areas, like more jams tahn meats, etc. They also do plenty of chocolate, but i figured they had enough chocolate come to them and would like something more unique.
I’ll have you know it smells delicious, like Andrea Smarty Hottie’s hair. Especially if you stick a ‘b’ between the ‘u’ and the ‘c’.

Andrea S H – I know what you mean about the Tequila. Me and the evil T (not T Morris) had a really bad run in when I was in my mid 20s and we’ve not been on speaking terms since!
As far as the strange shopping combination nothing comes right to mind but I will say that the last time I bought condoms they wouldn’t (of course) scan and the poor little girl (maybe 16 years old?) at the register actually had to get on the intercom and ASK FOR A PRICE CHECK!
I suppose I should have been embarrassed but I had consumed cocktails with dinner and I was really enjoying the surrealness of the moment.
The cashier though, was mortified.
She tried to be subtle about it (not really possible) but the guy who was doing the price check for her didn’t get it. Instead he walked within shouting distance and of course, shouted.
“What was that?”
“Huh? The what? … OH, oh.”
Then after all of that, when I had paid and she was handing me my package she accidentally said what she had obviously been saying to everyone all evening, “Have a good evening!”
I just stopped and held the package a moment and couldn’t resist giving her the “Wink Wink, nudge nudge” smile.
It took about 3 beats before she made the connection between what she was handing me and what “Having a good evening” was going to entail.
She turned beat red and I think she wanted to crawl under the register.
I gave her my best, hearty “Oh, I will!” and disappeared into the night.
She should send in a dumass memory to jack then!
Pedialyte is a pediatric electrolyte drink for ill children. And it was in berry flavor.
