Much drinking, occasional eating, scattered chatter & great guest contributions. Loosely controlled by the combined brilliance of Michael & Evo.

Yes! I agree with Mike and it's been something I've been saying for years. Science Fiction writers for TV & movies could devote a little more effort to getting the science right without ruining the entertainment value of the show, especially in shows that try to be realistic.

I know that it is entertainment, and, yes, I suspend my disbelief, but when "realistic" things are obviously wrong, then it detracts from my enjoyment of the show. I think Armageddon is a hoot, but it has horrible science.

Scientific mistakes have been the reason I'm a bit annoyed with Eureka. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy the show. In my opinion, obvious fantastic elements such as the artifact and the death ray should get a free pass. But when I see a bottle of 98% Sulphuric Acid, I cringe. It's a show about scientists and science. It's almost inexcusable to get such a simple thing wrong. For people that haven't had chemistry, or have forgotten, acid strength is measured in molarity.

That's it for my ranting. :)
