Wingin’ It #86: The Celebrity Siting of the Century
Evo’s back! Was he gone?
This week we have Evo, Mike, Summer, Kris, Jack, Debbie, and Sheila.
Our in-studio audience, Brian.
First Drink of the Day, brought to you by Evo: Mackeson Triple Stout for Mike, ??????? for Jack, Rogue Brewing Co. Imperial Pale Ale for Evo.
- And now for something completely the same:
- Mike thinks back fondly on old engine oil. And tranny fluid. Tastes kinda salty, don’t ya think?
- Chris the Fixed Kitty with a new top ten list: “You know you’re having a scifi Thanksgiving when…”
- Mike completely blew Summer’s mind. How? How, you ask? Look here. And, what the hell, look here while you’re at it.
- The Pubcast - Live from the Dogfish Head Alehouse, with Tee Morris, Phil Rossi, and John from Columbia MD.
- A Second Life Draco Vista boobie bar? I’m so there. Seriously, you won’t hear me anymore, I’ll just be at home on the weekends. Wasting away in front of my computer screen. Like I do the other five days of the week.
- Live with Larry: Larry interviews Osama bin Laden.
- A Wingin’ It contest on Second Life? I guess we’re cooler than we thought.
- Have you seen this man?
- Evo’s mom, Vickie, shows up in the studio, as does NJ’s ego.
- Evo has the stupid idea of having a Wheel of Topics.
- The new King Kong DVD has thirteen minutes of extra footage and thirty-eight minutes of deleted scenes. um, yay.
- Paul Fischer from Balticon, ’bout to complain to the WGA for improper credits or something. Check out all of Paul’s fine contributions at ADDcast.net
- Jeremy from Seattle still needs photos for the Wingin’ It calendar. Send your pics to “djutopia at gmail dot com”
- BTW, we have forums!
- Three things that we couldn’t get to on Slice of Scifi. 1) Dead Hookers in a bed, 2) Zombie sex, and…
- Check out Podcaster Tree apparently, we rock there.
- 3) Lesbian Cattle Drives
- Summer thanks Phil for Hitchhiker’s Guide and a shit-load of candy.

You also have to be quick to be topical when Rupert Murdoch decides “Hmmm…maybe this OJ book’s a bad idea.”
I’d like to think it was this podcast that convinced him.

Re: Lesbian Cattle Drive…
Brokeback Firefly (featuring the female characters).

Something about Summer having a long-nurtured story of a lesbian cattle drive has made the sky look a little bluer today, the air fresher, the beer more aromatic.

Zombie sex that looks hot? Perhaps if a really old couple had sex wearing digital imaging suits that were then overlayed by supermodels.
Could Paris Hilton filmed having sex with a Paris Hilton doll be considered zombie sex?

How about this for Summer’s story?

Hey Tee, Phil, and John! Sorry I’m late in commenting on the Pubcast. It was great; I hardly ever smashed my head repeadedly on my steering wheel or yelled profanity-laden corrections at my iPod. Any negative feelings I had were pure jealousy surrounding your drinking at Dogfish Head Alehouse.
That being said, Tee, you may want to go back and re-listen to a few of SoB’s “Beer Geek Moments.” Like the one on hops. Or the one on wheat. Or the one on barley. You know, just to straighten out a few details…

Hey guys, a couple comments as I catch up on all of my podcasts.
First, if you are looking for lesbian zombie action, you HAVE to check out EscapePod #39: My Friend is a Lesbian Zombie.
http://www.escapepod.org/2006/02/02/ep039-my-friend-is-a-lesbian-zombie/
That was a great, fun story.
Second, I was shocked to hear that Summer had never seen the “original” BBC TV miniseries version of “The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy”. Thank you Phil for helping her get some classic geeky goodness.
