This past weekend we went down to Metropolis, IL for a family party with my wife’s family. A lot of them are from down there or just a bit further south in KY or TN. Anyway, you cannot go to Metropolis without stopping to visit the giant Superman statue. At least, I can’t.
Look on the bright side. You could have an uncontrollable compulsion of the Roy Orbison in cling-wrap variety.
Anyway, attached is a picture of wingin’ it with Supes. I also attached a picture of my 2 year old daughter with the statue because she’s so damn cute. BTW, she WANTED to wear that outfit. She’s crazy into superman.
Damned cute. Agreed. You get a pass on your Superman addiction just because of her.

Oh, and how does one win this “contest”? Simple: Send a picture of your MP3 player of choice in front of some landmark or other cool image in such a way that we can clearly see the name of our show scrolling across your screen. I finally got around to reading the Roy Orbison cling-film thing. I’m slightly disturbed. I’m drunk too, which is adding to it, but I’m still disturbed.

OH MY GOSH!! Metropolis!! I have been there.. just across the river from Paducah Kentucky!
Did they go to the Casino??? Cause thats the only reason to really go to Metropolis!!
