I think you guys really captured it with this show.
Thanks for this. Listened to it and then raised an IBC to Joe with my husband.
…slipped in a pile of midgets still sends me into fits of laughter.
Should have known better than to have listened to his when driving. Especially after hearing the recording on Saturday. I laughed hard at the funny bits, I also cried.
Thanks guys.
Great job, everyone. . . Thanks for doing this. I wish I’d been there.
I remember well that lopsided smile, when he was thinking about the topic at hand, loading up a brilliant comment to end all comments and send us into a break.
Root beer raised.
*sniff*
This just reminds me of how special Joe was.
I need to score the best Ginger Ale I can find and watch a double feature of Spiderbabe and Lord of the G Strings in memory of Joe.
Don’t forget Bikini Cavegirl. That was one of our favs late night after the show.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Joe, but listened to him on Wingin it, Slice of SciFi, KickAss Mystic Ninjas, and Dragon Page. He had a keen mind for Fantasy knowledge that I really respected. On his opinion, I purchased read the entire His Dark Materials series and really appreciated it. I know I will miss his intelligent discourse on all the shows he attended.
Excellent show. I had tears and laughs mixed together as I walked down memory lane with you.
You guys have handled a very difficult situation with class and dignity. Some of Joe HAS rubbed off on you all.
I am so glad to learn I was not the only one oddly fascinated by Spiderbabe. Hand it to Joe for the courage to say it, as I’ve lived with the secret for years now.
Sounds good Mike. Once I get my theater room finished we’ll have to christen it rightly.
No one could have done it better. Your gentle and humorous tribute to a sweet man was full of what Joe exemplified so well. I laughed, I cried, and I said goodbye.
You guys did a great job with this. I wish I had more to say.

Ya know it really sucks that there was a reason for this show, but it was a great one and I’m sure he’d approve. Kick ass in peace mighty ninja!
This was a great tribute and a great way for Joe to be remembered; with love and laughter.
Who can ask for more.
I just finally heard the show today… Damn. Of all the voice messages you must have received in honor of Joe, I was deeply flattered and insanely honored that mine was chosen for that bit at the end. Thanks a lot, guys, and know I meant every word. I’m glad I got to play even a tiny part in saying goodbye to one hell of a human being. The show itself was.. well.. brilliant. Looking forward to lots more laughs from the rest of the crew once you guys come back.
I should’ve known better than to listen to the tribute at my day job, There was a tear in my eye and a laugh in my belly and bizzare looks from my co-workers. Kudos (not the granola bar) to Evo, Michael and company for putting this touching show together. Sleep well, Randy Inuendo.
I thought this was most fitting.
Really damn nice…. damn nice.
Lol, ah yes “Bikini Cavegirl”….
*sigh*
Thanks folks, you did a very touching show. not a dry eye in the house.
From the remembrances, to the clips, to the Turtles tune… first rate folks. Here’s to ya Joe. We’re missing ya already.
I only knew Joe as a voice on Farpoint podcasts. No doubt he will be missed by many. This tribute show accents something really special in all of you. Joe was obviously a special friend to you, but it’s obvious Joe was truly blessed to have friends like you.
Cheers
I can’t say I knew Joe personally. Hell I can honestly say I never knew him at all, but for listening to the shows from Wingin’ It, Slice, and Cover to Cover. However, Joe’s voice was always there in everything that was important, and everything that was Brilliant!
Joe will be sorely missed not just by the Farpoint Media family, but by his listeners, fans, and those who cared for him in his last days. Joe was a stranger to none, friend to all, and well worth taking the time to get to know had I ever had the chance.
We here at Will’s Place Radio, send our strongest heartfelt condolences to Joe’s friends, and family. And we wish Joe Godspeed on his next adventure.
