Thank you Michael, and thank you Evo for one hell of a great run. I can’t count all the times WI has had me laughing hysterically. It has taught me new driving habits, and increased my vocabulary (really, thanks for fucktard, I just love the word!).
Though new shows will come, this one will always be special to me. As I’ve said, It’s a good thing it’s recorded or no one would believe it ever happened.
Once again many kudos and thanks to all involved from one crazy son of a bitch to another.
Much luck on the new show. Of course I’ll listen, but to keep me you’ll still have to earn it.

Wow. Who’da thunk that one episode could change everything I thought I knew about the show? It’s sad on one part to see such a good show go, but in retrospect, it was for the best.
I honestly didn’t believe that one could actually do away with the core concept of the show (have a drink or two, and discuss about things related to scifi/fantasy or what have you and be yourself in the process). With a fresh start, the stigma and expectations of the past no longer apply, so WI3D is free to step back to the core experience.
The ‘skipping the whole podfade’ is a bonus.
I’ll gladly tag along if the fun is still to be had.
Life has beginning and an end. We try to deny, but it’s this life our human existence. Maybe there is another, I do not know. I will miss the old Wingin It, but the new will delight me in ways I cannot understand yet. This I know, life always gets more interesting remaining constant is boring or worse yet lethal.
Greetings from China. I can’t listen to the cast from here, but Best Wishes folks. Sad to see a cool thing end. The podcasting world will certainly be different when I get home.

Well, this all but confirms the theory that Evo was the one who wanted to end Wingin’ It. He’s also the one who wanted to get away from the sci-fi angle, IIRC. And you know, I think this was the right way to make the transition and start with a clean slate. Farpoint Media really is evolving and this is perhaps the most obvious aspect of that process.
